Ingredients

- 4 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons good-quality matcha powder
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let it bubble for 1 minute.
- Mix in the bread flour, matcha powder, salt, and soft butter.
- Knead the dough until smooth and slightly elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm spot until puffy.
- Shape the dough into a loaf, rolls, or mini rounds.
- Bake in a preheated oven until golden-green.
- Cover while cooling to prevent drying out.
Notes
For extra squish, add a spoonful of condensed milk to the dough. Store bread wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh.
