- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings
- Fresh cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined and press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Add sour cream and heavy cream; mix until combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Top with cherry pie filling and chocolate shavings before serving.
- Garnish with fresh cherries.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth mixture. Press the crust firmly to hold together.
