A bold and spicy BBQ sauce featuring Fireball whisky that elevates any meal.
Ingredients

- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Fireball whisky
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, honey, Fireball whisky, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves and the sauce is smooth.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- If using, add hot sauce to taste.
- Let the sauce simmer for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and let cool before storing in a jar.
- For best flavor, refrigerate overnight before using.
Notes
The sauce can be frozen for longer storage, but leave room for expansion in the jar.
