This cookie dough recipe tastes just like the real thing but is safe to eat, perfect as a snack or dessert.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons milk (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add in the vanilla extract and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture. Stir until the dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add the milk a little at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Enjoy the cookie dough straight away or store it for later!
Notes
Use heat-treated flour for safety. Store in an airtight container and enjoy within one week, or freeze for up to three months.
