Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter and Seasoning

  • 4 tablespoons Garlic butter
  • 2 pounds Steak Choose your favorite cut.
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme Fresh or dried.
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary Fresh or dried.

Potatoes

  • 1.5 pounds Potatoes Yukon gold or red potatoes work well.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Salad

  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce Chopped.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved.
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon vinaigrette

Grain (Optional)

  • 1 cup Basmati rice Cook according to package instructions.

Cooking Steak and Potatoes

  • Sear the steak in a pan with garlic butter and thyme over medium heat.
  • Season the steak with black pepper.
  • In a preheated oven, roast the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes after tossing them with olive oil and rosemary.
  • Cook basmati rice according to package instructions if serving.

Salad Preparation

  • Toss the romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with lemon vinaigrette.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for perfect steak doneness. Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices to the potatoes. For more textures, consider adding other vegetables to the roasting pan.
