Ingredients
  

For the garlic butter and steak

  • 4 tablespoons Garlic butter For searing the steak
  • 2 pounds Steak Cut of your choice
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme Fresh or dried

For the roasted potatoes

  • 2 pounds Potatoes Cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Rosemary Fresh or dried
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

For the salad

  • 1 head Romaine lettuce Chopped
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved
  • to taste Lemon vinaigrette For dressing the salad

For the rice

  • 1 cup Basmati rice Cook according to package instructions

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Sear the steak in a pan with garlic butter and thyme until cooked to your liking.
  • Toss the potatoes with rosemary and olive oil, then roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • Cook the basmati rice according to the package instructions.
  • In a bowl, toss the romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with the lemon vinaigrette.

Serving

  • Serve the garlic butter steak sliced, alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and the fresh salad.

Notes

Make sure the pan is hot enough before searing the steak to get a nice brown crust. Don’t overcrowd the potatoes on the baking sheet; this helps them roast evenly. Feel free to add other vegetables to the roasted potatoes for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
