  • 28 ounces Lil Smokies cocktail sausages
  • 12 ounces beef gravy from a jar Chicken gravy can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6-8 pieces pepperoncini peppers, sliced For extra kick, consider adding diced jalapeƱos.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking Process

  • In a slow cooker, add the Lil Smokies sausages.
  • Pour the beef gravy over the sausages.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and black pepper on top.
  • Add the sliced pepperoncini peppers and place the butter on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or with toasted bread.

Notes

These sausages can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or slow cooker when ready to serve. Consider adding diced onions or garlic for a variation.
