  • 4 cups Broccoli florets Fresh or frozen
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Optional
  • to taste Salt

Cooking the Salmon and Broccoli

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Place salmon fillets in the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until salmon is cooked through.
  • Add broccoli to the skillet and drizzle with lemon juice.
  • Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your nutritious meal!

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the salmon; it should be flaky but still moist. Feel free to add other veggies you have on hand, like bell peppers or snap peas. For a little extra zing, squeeze more lemon juice over the top before serving.
